
Rules of Conduct
GROOMING
1- The students are expected to wear their uniform with pride and ensure that they look neat and presentable at all times.
2- The student must always come to school in uniform, also during special classes or the PTMs.
-Girls
1- Girls with long hair should make plaits and pin up their hair properly. Those with short hair should wear black hair bands.
2- School belt is compulsory. Nails should be clean and properly trimmed. No nail paint to be applied.
3- No fancy and expensive ear rings allowed. Only simple round rings or studs are permissible. No eye makeup allowed for the girls (kajal, eyeliners, etc.)
-Boys
1- Boys should go in for regular haircuts and have short trimmed hair, neatly combed. Fancy haircuts are strictly not allowed.
LEAVE RULES
1- Student’s leave has to be approved by the Principal. Parents should fill up the Leave Application format given in the school app. for each day the student is absent from school stating the reason for absence or leave taken. A student who has been absent on the previous day will not be admitted to the class without the same.
2- Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for ten consecutive working days renders a student liable to having his/her name struck off the rolls without any notice. Re-admission may be granted after payment of a fresh admission fee, depending only on the discretion of the Principal.
3- All students are expected to attend school on the re-opening day after the vacations. It is compulsory for the students to complete 75% of the attendance in the year to make them eligible to sit for the final assessment. It would be appreciated if students have an average of at least 90% attendance before the examination.
4- In case of sickness for any period of time, a Medical Certificate must be attached with the leave application.
5- Students suffering from infectious diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine, and on returning to school, should produce a fitness certificate permitting him/her to do so.
6- Parents and guardians of all the students should contact the teachers on the PTM days to note the progress of their ward. A student who uses unfair means during tests will be given zero in the subject and a warning letter.
7- It is mandatory for all children to take school tests. No retest is allowed. You are requested not to send your ward for the weekly test in case of any serious illness. The child will not be sent back after the test. He/She will have to attend full school. The school reserves the right to suspend or to take strict disciplinary action against a student whose diligence or progress in studies is constantly unsatisfactory, or whose conduct is harmful to other students.
8- The student indulging in any misbehavior, directly or online which could be derogatory for the institution or any person will be strictly punished.
9- The school has the right to retain the work books, activity books and any other material used by the students in the class.
10- Promotion is granted on the basis of the whole year’s performance of the pupil, therefore regularity in attendance and studies is of prime importance. It is the responsibility of the absentee student to cover all the work missed by him/her. Children are expected to carry their books according to the Time Table.
11- The child must appear for all the tests as per the schedule given. In case the child is unable to take the examination, prior intimation should be given to the Class Teacher stating the reason for absence.
A child will be eligible for the proficiency award/scholar badge only if he/she has appeared for all the subjects in all the Periodic Assessments and the Final Assessment. A child who uses unfair means during the assessments will be awarded a zero in that particular test and a warning letter would be issued. Students found tampering with the school records e.g. marks allotted by teachers in exams are liable to strict disciplinary action.
